How aiCommerce Sped Up Its Dashboards

The problem: 

aiCommerce needs its dashboards to load quickly. The digital marketing agency is always making adjustments to client campaigns, such as adding or editing a rule or applying an alert to multiple accounts—and all of those changes need to be processed right away.

Same for reports: When the aiCommerce team is on calls with each of its 15+ clients, they can’t sit around waiting for data to load. 

Ads management is a fast-paced business. There’s no time to waste. 

Before switching to Intentwise, “that was the biggest pet peeve,” said Jay Lorich, digital supervisor at aiCommerce. 

When he was using rival platforms for ads and data management, the load times felt positively glacial. “We want to use software to become more efficient, but it felt we were becoming inefficient waiting for anything to load.”

The solution: 

aiCommerce began using the Intentwise Ad Optimizer to manage its ads. Soon after, it added Intentwise Analytics Cloud to build and maintain its data pipelines. Lorich was relieved by the lightning-fast speeds of the Intentwise platform. He’d never seen anything like it. 

For one, Intentwise offers the best of both worlds: It offers more functionality at faster load times. It’s a fully stocked platform that doesn’t easily get slowed down.

But when aiCommerce let Intentwise manage its data pipes, Lorich found that even its third-party reports suddenly loaded quickly.

That’s because of Intentwise’s proprietary data model, called Ecommerce Graph, that forges the connections between reports. It ensures load times far faster than our competitors.

It wasn’t just the speed of Intentwise that won Lorich over, of course. He was impressed by the flexibility of the Ad Optimizer, which allowed him to mix and match rules and AI bid systems. 

Intentwise’s automatic segmentation by sub-brand and brand vs. non-brand keywords also allowed Lorich to very simply tell a narrative to clients about their performance. If a client says they want a particular return, Lorich can easily show them the trade-offs—for instance, that hitting a certain ACOS target might come at the cost of new customers.

There are other big benefits of the Intentwise platform. With the click of a button, Intentwise can identify advertised ASINs that are low on inventory, allowing Lorich’s team to make smarter campaign decisions. Now, “I can see the full story when it comes to inventory levels in accordance with ad spend,” he said. 

Most of all, according to Lorich, the Intentwise team takes him seriously. When he asks for feature changes—a new way of slicing up or visualizing data, for instance—we listen. “If we say, hey, is there a way for you to pull in this thing for this situation? You guys say, ‘We’re going to look into it.’ And then it’s added to the product roadmap.”
