Running cross-channel analytics in Claude

E-commerce brands can now conduct analytics across multiple marketplaces in Claude.

At Intentwise, we’ve added Walmart, Amazon, and Criteo as data sources in AI Gateway, our MCP that connects your commerce data to your AI agent.

Later this week, we’ll also be rolling out connections to TikTok Ads, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.

What all this means is that you’ll soon be able to manage all of your marketplaces from within your chosen AI agent.

While we don’t have the capabilities to let you take new actions within your AI agent (yet), you can do pretty much anything else: ask diagnostics questions, build decks, and generate insights.

This is a major step in the evolution of AI and commerce, where your AI agent can cut out the most tedious parts of the work of marketplace management.

That’ll free you up to think more about high-level strategy.

What can you do with your commerce data in your AI agent?

With data from so many marketplaces accessible within your AI agent, you’ll be able to understand cross-channel signals more easily than ever before.

Diagnose ad performance or revenue swings. Across every single channel, set up alerts at intervals of your choice in case your ad performance shifts.

You don’t need to constantly refresh dashboards. Instead, Claude can deliver updates wherever you work, whether that’s over Slack, email, or elsewhere.

Not only that, but Claude can also give you an educated guess about why your performance swung. Ask it in plain language the top 3 reasons for a performance swing, and you’ll get back expert-level answers.

You can trust this analysis in part if you know your MCP is strong.

If you’re using a MCP like Intentwise’s, where data sets are unified and pre-modeled and additional domain knowledge is added in, your AI agent will be able to reason through your performance swings like an expert.

Or you can set this all up as a workflow, so you get a summary of what changed in your account—and why—every single week. Our Product Manager Kenton Snyder discussed how to do this in a recent webinar. (Stream it here.)

Ask cross-cutting diagnostics questions. Claude can give you top-line summaries of how your revenue changed over the last 30 days across all of your accounts.

You can also use these multi-channel views to quickly see whether an increase or decrease in revenue was isolated to one channel.

If all of your channels saw a revenue drop-off, that’s probably related to a broader market change—either a seasonal shift or competitive pressures.

If just, let’s say, Walmart, dropped off while the rest of your channels held steady, then you probably have an issue that’s isolated to your Walmart presence.

Build multi-channel performance decks. E-commerce leaders are constantly creating decks in PowerPoint or Google Slides to share with their teams or their clients.

They’re like progress reports: here’s what we achieved, and here’s what we’re going to improve next.

The problem is they can take hours to build—and that’s all time you’d probably rather spend on high-level account strategy.

We described in this free tutorial document how to build these for Amazon specifically. But with these new data sources added, you can now have Claude build multi-channel decks for you.

See your Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, TikTok, Meta, and Google Ads performance all in the same set of decks.

Let’s say you’re an agency. Is your client wondering how an increase in TikTok ad spend is impacting their other channels? Claude can automatically generate slides that compare TikTok spend to Amazon sales, for instance, so you can begin to correlate channels.

And all of this can be automated through workflows. Build automations in Claude to generate a new multi-channel performance deck every week, without you having to remember to run the prompt.

See your commerce data however you want it. Of course the real benefit of having cross-channel data in your AI agent is that you can basically do what you want with it.

Showcase different data sets side by side, see how channels compare or overlap in new ways, and build any dashboard—or run any analytics question—you can dream of.

Claude won’t give you a great answer for all of your questions, but it’ll pull out some great insights for a lot of them.

And that’s really the crux of it. With multi-channel data in Claude, you can think and build across your marketplaces in a new way. Explore new kinds of performance visuals, new kinds of analytics questions, new kinds of channel overlaps.

And because Claude builds visuals and answers questions so quickly, you can experiment at scale.

The best way to do this is through AI Gateway, Intentwise’s leading MCP that brings in Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, TikTok Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Ads data into your AI agent.

We do this all while maintaining state-of-the-art security measures, plus add domain context so your AI agent truly reasons through your questions.
