The Amazon and TikTok Shop growth agency Tiide Commerce is committed to delivering best-in-class support to its clients.
But some of the administrative parts of the job, like building reports for clients, took up hours that the Tiide Commerce team preferred to spend on forward-looking strategy.
Mark Lathrum, founder of Tiide Commerce, knew AI could help, but he couldn’t find a product that catered to the nuances of his business.

Within Claude, the company also created powerful dashboards that ensured it would never miss a key performance change.
Tiide created a dashboard in Claude of each client’s top 10 SKUs, showing the change in sales, CTR, and Buy Box week over week. “What that allows our team to do is diagnose what’s going wrong and what’s going well,” Lathrum said.
The company also built a search term performance dashboard in Claude that showed which keywords were on the rise week over week.
A dashboard that isolated all the client SKUs that dropped 60% in sales in the last few days similarly allowed Lathrum to catch suppressions and other critical issues much faster.
With AI Gateway, “I sit down every Monday and say, hey, what else can we build out with this that’s going to save 30 minutes here and there or a couple hours a week?” Lathrum said.
Even product emergencies, which before AI Gateway might have derailed an entire night, are now resolvable.
Once, on a Friday night, Lathrum was at dinner when a client texted him, worried about a 30-40% drop in sales on one of their top-selling SKUs. This was a SKU that regularly brings in $1m+ per month in sales.
Lathrum asked Claude to identify a few possible reasons why sales were down.
“Through AI Gateway, it flagged, this is what’s happening with sales, it’s a conversion issue,” Lathrum said. He quickly pieced together that the SKU had flipped from FBA to FBM, cratering the conversion rate.
Lathrum texted the client back without missing dinner. “I was able to get back to them within 10 or 15 minutes instead of having to dig through business reports, look at a graph or a chart.”
