During a busy sales event like Prime Day, your performance can shift quickly. If a product goes out of stock, or if you suddenly lose the Buy Box, you might torpedo your entire Prime Day strategy.

No doubt you already plan to have an analyst scour your accounts on Prime Day, in search of new opportunities or performance swings.

But to make sure you don’t miss any critical errors, you should also have Claude, Copilot, or your chosen AI agent do a double-check of your performance, inventory, and other metrics during Prime Day.

When you connect your Amazon data to Claude, as Intentwise’s AI Gateway lets you do, this is easy.

Run repeatable workflows that identify missed opportunities, build quick performance decks that let you quickly report back your Prime Day performance to your clients, and more.

With Claude keeping an eye on the small gaps or stock issues that are easily avoided, you’re freed up the time to think about high-level Prime Day strategy.

How can Claude help you win on Prime Day?

Here are a few tips for how to use Claude on Prime Day:

Track inventory and Buy Box losses. Nothing hurts on Prime Day more than unforced errors, when you’re pushing a product that’s running low on inventory.

A stockout can kill your standing in Amazon’s rankings. And given how quickly products sell on Prime Day, you want to be sure you’re flagging products the moment they are even threatening to go out of stock.

Claude can do this for you—run a query asking “What products are running out of inventory that I should pull back on ads?” and it’ll automatically identify inventory-critical ASINs on Prime Day.

You can set this up as a workflow that will repeat and run, say, every hour.

Plus: if you integrate Claude into Slack, you can have the results sent to you in Slack.

The same goes for other listing failures that can ruin your performance on Prime Day. If any of your products loses the Buy Box, for instance, have Claude flag it for you the instant it happens.

Quick comparisons with last year’s Prime Day. To understand how you’re doing on Prime Day, you need to use last year’s benchmarks. Prime Day is a singular event, and last week’s performance won’t cut it as a comparison.

Usually these kinds of deep YoY comparisons can take an hour or so of poring over reports and dashboards.

But you can ask Claude to compare your YoY Prime Day performance in minutes. At the end of each day, tell Claude to compare your performance to the first day of Prime Day last year.

You can also ask it to identify significant swings. Did certain ASINs do much better or worse this year vs. last year? Did certain keywords see a major performance shift?

Claude can identify those anomalies for you, and add in a quick explanation of what happened for each.

For agencies, these can also be helpful ways to update your clients at the end of each day of Prime Day.

Have Claude build answers about YoY changes as a PowerPoint deck, and then share it with your clients without the hassle of creating an entire presentation from scratch during an already hectic week.

Surface missed opportunities. A great use case of Claude is to flag all of the small adjustments you can make to improve your campaigns.

You can ask Claude, as Made In Cookware did, to root out keywords with high ad spend but zero orders, or to flag campaigns that are missing certain match types.

With Search Query Performance data, which Intentwise’s AI Gateway brings into Claude, you can locate the keywords where you’re selling well despite underspending on ads compared to your competitors.

On the flip side, you can also quickly cut out cases of overspend on certain keywords.

Of course, in order to start using Claude to accelerate your Prime Day strategy, you need a secure, context-aware way to integrate your Amazon data into your AI agent.
